Dr Salim Greven is a German-trained specialist dermatologist with extensive experience in general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, aesthetic dermatology and dermatological surgery. He is also a qualified specialist in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, giving him particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions affecting children and adolescent.
Dr Greven completed his medical and dental studies at Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany, before undertaking specialist training in Paediatrics and later Dermatology. He qualified as a Specialist in Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine in 2013 and as a Specialist in Dermatology, Allergology and Venereology in 2020.
Throughout his career, Dr Greven has worked across university hospitals, specialist departments, and private practice in Germany, including senior consultant and departmental leadership roles in both Dermatology and Paediatrics. His international experience also includes working at Taranaki Base Hospital in New Zealand and Flinders Medical Centre in Australia.
His clinical interests include general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, aesthetic dermatology, and hyperhidrosis. He has also contributed to dermatology research, including publications relating to skin cancer diagnostics and shared decision-making.
