Facial Fullness & Symmetry

Need advice? Contact us

With ageing some cumulative effects of time become evident especially in the mid face. Bony and soft tissue deteriorates leading a loss of the malar prominence and a flattening of the facial features.

The decrease of the malar fat pad results in loss of facial fullness. By adding or restructuring volume, facial fullness and symmetry can be re-created. Facial features can be enhanced and the signs of aging reduced.

Dr Ken Macdonald offers both non-permanent, non-surgical treatment options as well as surgical solutions.

Available treatments from KM Surgical:

Liposuction & Liposculpture

Tumescent liposuction is a liposuction technique which has been specially developed by cosmetic dermatologists. Tumescent liposuction is performed entirely under local anaesthetic and is recognised as the safest form of liposuction. The objective is to improve body contours by removing unwanted fat in a very careful manner.

Fat Transfer Augmentation

Lipostructure is a term which refers to augmentation and contouring of the face using the patient's own fat.

Face Lift

The MACS-Lift (minimal access cranial suspension) is an effective face lift operation that is designed to lift the lower two thirds of the face in a relatively straightforward manner with minimal inconvenience.

Botulinum Toxin

Botox ® is a natural, purified protein that relaxes wrinkle- causing muscles creating a smoothed and rejuvenated and more youthful appearance. It is a simple non-surgical procedure that smooths the deep, persistent facial lines that develop over time.

Dysport ®

Dysport ® is a simple, effective, non-surgical treatment that works by relaxing facial muscles, thereby reducing and smoothing frown-lines and wrinkles.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are becoming an increasingly popular treatment option for wrinkles, lip enhancement and lines. With minimal down time patients can resume normal activities after the treatment and have the benefit of an immediately obvious improvement.

Xeomin ®

Xeomin ® is a botulinum toxin type A, free from complexing proteins, used for treatment of frown lines on the forehead. Xeomin ® is available only on prescription – ask us if Xeomin ® is right for you.
