The Medlite has a unique wavelength and its very short bursts of light energy shatter pigment which intense pulsed light (IPL) and other lasers cannot remove.  It is also safe to use in darker skin types.

A course of 10 treatments is required for Medlite pigment removal for melasma and freckles, you generally start to see results after 5 treatments.  It is also recommended that you use a depigmenting cream like 4% Hydroquinone cream .
