What Is HArmonyCa?
HArmonyCa is a dual-action injectable that combines two well-established ingredients in one formulation:
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA) : Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the skin and helps maintain hydration, volume and structure. When injected, it provides an immediate filling and supporting effect, helping to improve facial contours and the appearance of volume loss.
- Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) : Calcium hydroxyapatite is a biostimulatory ingredient that encourages the skin's natural collagen production. Over time, it helps improve the skin's structural support, firmness and elasticity.

How Long Does HArmonyCa Last?
The effects of HArmonyCa are long-lasting but not permanent. Results may remain visible for approximately 12–18 months, although this varies depending on individual metabolism, treatment area, product placement and other factors. Maintenance treatments may be considered following clinical assessment.
What Happens During Treatment?
Your treatment begins with a consultation to assess your facial anatomy, skin quality, medical history and aesthetic goals. We will explain the treatment process, discuss realistic expectations and determine whether HArmonyCa is suitable for you. The product is carefully injected into selected areas using an appropriate technique.
HArmonyCa contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, to help improve comfort during treatment.
Is There Any Recovey?
Most patients can return to their usual daily activities relatively quickly following treatment. However, temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness are common after injectable procedures.
Possible side effects include:
- Redness or swelling at injection sites
- Bruising
- Tenderness or discomfort
- Temporary firmness or unevenness
- Small lumps or nodules
- Itching or localised inflammation
These effects are often temporary, although some reactions may last longer or require assessment. Less common complications include infection, persistent nodules, inflammatory reactions, delayed swelling and unwanted changes in facial contour. As with other facial injectables, accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause serious complications, including tissue injury and, in rare cases, visual impairment or blindness. Although HArmonyCa contains hyaluronic acid, its calcium hydroxyapatite component cannot be dissolved using hyaluronidase in the same way as a standard hyaluronic acid filler. All potential risks and complications will be discussed during your consultation.
Aftercare
Following treatment, we generally recommend:
- Avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Avoiding excessive heat, saunas and hot environments for 24–48 hours
- Avoiding unnecessary pressure or massage over the treated areas unless instructed otherwise
- Keeping the injection sites clean
- Avoiding additional facial treatments until advised by your clinician
- Following all individual aftercare instructions provided by KM Surgical
If you experience severe or increasing pain, unusual skin discolouration, changes in vision or other concerning symptoms, seek urgent medical attention.
