This service is designed to improve access to timely skin and cancer assessment while maintaining specialist oversight and clinical governance.
How the Skin Check Works
- Initial assessment by a Registered Dermatology Nurse
Your skin or selected lesions are assessed by one of our trained Registered Nurses, who will examine your skin capture high-quality clinical assessment and dermoscopic images using DermEngine.
- Dermatologist review
Dermoscopic images and clinical review is undertaken by our dermatologists when required.
- Follow-up
You will be advised on lesion monitoring, biopsy, and clinical review.

- Moles or lesions of concern
- New or changing skin lesions
- Skin status, sun damage, keratoses
Fees
- 1–5 lesions/moles: $110
- 5+ lesions/moles: $210

Important Insurance Information
Please note that
skin checks performed by Registered Nurses or Dermatologists may not be covered by insurance providers.
We recommend you
check directly with your insurance advisor regarding coverage for:
- Nurse-led skin checks
- Tele-dermatology or dermatologist image review services
If the service is not covered, the consultation will be
self-funded.
